Wide Angle

April 11 to September 27, 2025

Wide Angle is a temporary exhibit at the Kamloops Museum and Archives that explores the city’s starring role in film both on screen and behind the scenes. From archival footage and behind-the-scenes stories to cinematic moments, the exhibition brings Kamloops’ film legacy to life.

The exhibit also celebrates two major milestones: 70 years of the Paramount Theatre and 50 years of the Kamloops Film Society.

A large magnetic photo adorns the walls of the Kamloops Museum. In this space, we encourage all our guests to be loud and learn boldly. We invite you to dive into the Children's Museum, engaging with the exhibits hands-on and exploring through touch.
