The Kamloops Museum and Archives preserve and provide access to the rich history of Kamloops and the surrounding area. The Archives hold a treasure trove of photographs, documents, and artifacts related to the diverse heritage and stories of our community. Whether you are a researcher, student, or history enthusiast, there is treasure out there in the Archives waiting for you.

The Archives, located on the KMA’s second floor, provides a quiet and comfortable space to access our collections. Our curatorial team is available to assist with your enquiry and direct you on how to access archival material. To contact the archivist directly, email [email protected].

We try to make the environment inclusive by having seating on every floor and quiet corners for times when individuals get overwhelmed. We invite you to take a journey through time and indulge yourself in the wealth of history that is in Kamloops Museum and Archives. Archivist

The Kamloops Museum and Archives is proud to have Mitchell Fridman as our dedicated archivist. Originally from Montreal, Mitchell brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles at the Bank of Montreal, The English Montreal School Board, and Longwood Gardens. With a master’s degree in library and information studies specializing in archives, Mitchell is passionate about making the extensive KMA collections accessible and engaging for the community.
