Brick, Business, and Boom Years
Most of the brick buildings in downtown Kamloops were constructed during the city’s boom years between 1910 and 1914. This particular block was built in 1914 by F. Godman.
In 1930, the Fuoco family purchased the building and maintained its mixed-use purpose. The ground floor has always housed retail shops, while the second floor served as office space, a common layout in Kamloops’ early commercial architecture.
